Shrimp in Parsley and Butter
The abundance of parsley growing in the garden inspired today’s recipe for shrimp in parsley and butter. This recipe for Shrimp and Parsley in Butter is my take on the delicious Muscles in Parsley and Butter, I ate in Rue Montorgueil while honeymooning in Paris.Parsley enhances the flavor of so many basic recipes. Today’s recipe is ready in under 10 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
One pound shrimp, cleaned and deveined2 Tbs salted butter
1 Tbs olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbs parsley minced
Fresh lemon juice from one lemon
Ground black pepper to taste
MAKE IT
- Sauté garlic in olive oil for 1 minute over medium heat;
- Add butter and shrimp, sprinkle with pepper, cook for 3 minutes;
- Turn shrimp, add fresh lemon juice and parsley, sauté for 3 more minutes.

My favorite way to enjoy this is over a fresh salad, with a side of French bread to soak up all those yummy juices. |
