May Garden: Planting Guide, Zone 10

One thing you can count on in May is the roses! Roses are a symbol of the Virgin Mary. I look forward to harvesting them every May, for my Rose Water recipe.

May is one of the most unpredictable months weather wise in the Bay Area’s gardening Zone 10. I wonder what’s in store this year as April was unusually cool. I suspect harvests will ripen later come summer.
