Almond Torte Recipe
This torte is easy to make and sure to impress your guests. I enjoy whipping this treat up whenever I have a special guest dropping by.

6-8INGREDIENTS
Topping
- 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbs water
Torte
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 stick salted butter, softened (8 Tbs)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
MAKE IT
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Butter 9” springform pan
- Mix flour, baking powder and sugar
- Add butter
- Mix in eggs and almond extract until smooth
- Spread torte mixture over the bottom of springform pan
- Sprinkle slivered almond topping over the top
- Bake 350F for 25 minutes
- Reduce heat to 325F and bake for another 20-25 minutes
- Cake is ready when toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
- Allow torte to cool and remove from springform pan.
