Red - Plum Sangria Recipe
This plum Sangria is a party maker and tastes like summer. Enjoy it during your next summer party. This recipe can be easily converted to a non-alcoholic punch by substituting the wine for hibiscus tea brewed with a cinnamon stick.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups chopped plums
2 cups chopped apples
1 large lemon juiced
2 oranges, 1 thinly sliced and 1 cubed
750 ml bottle of Apple Cider
2 - 750 ml bottles Zinfandel
MAKE IT
Cut your plums and place them in bowl, sprinkle 2 tbs raw sugar over them and set aside for 30 minutes. This will draw a delicious natural syrup from them.
Sprinkle lemon juice over your apples and set aside for 30 minutes.
Pour wine, apple cider, and fruit into a pitcher and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Your sangria is ready serve over ice.
