The feeling of new life growing inside you is humbling, miraculous, and awe-inspiring. Pregnancy can be a time to reflect on your place in the world. It can also be a strange time when you don’t feel like yourself, for those days find comfort in knowing God is with you. Reach out to Him that created the miracle growing inside you.

Read these Bible verses aloud to your growing baby to instill a love of God’s word from your womb.

Remember, Jesus especially loved the little ones. He said of them:

See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my Heavenly Father.”

(Matthew 18:10, New American Bible, Revised Edition)

Parenthood is a blessing and a privilege. God chose YOU specifically to be this baby’s mother. With God’s guidance you will be a wonderful mother. You are seeking God, which shows you are on the right path to become the good soil and reap the beautiful joy of raising God-loving children.

Sincerely,

Laura

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things in him who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise.

How we mamas feel during pregnancy affects our babies. Our moods are set by our thoughts, so think happy thoughts to give your baby inside you a good feeling. Enjoy this sacred time, tune out bad news and gloomy people for your baby’s sake. I went through a difficult first six months of pregnancy where I was ill and exhausted all the time. But I rejoiced because my baby was super healthy, filling my body with that nauseating but necessary progesterone while growing stronger every day.

Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you… (New American Bible, Revised Edition)

God knows our babies even before we do. He chose each one especially for His special purpose. What an honor to help God bring these special beings into the world.

Corinthians 3:16

Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Each of us is a temple of God, even each little bundle or bundles of joy! Your precios baby is relying on you to properly nourish, respect and protect yourself.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control. Against such things there is no law.

Ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit during this most special time of your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you everyday in raising your child. Most importantly, ask that God fill your baby with joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control.

Job 12:7-10

But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In His hand is the life of every creature and breath of all mankind.Don’t worry, God will take care of you. You are one of God’s most precious child, and He will help you be an amazing mom.

Matthew 6:25-26

Therefore, heed my words, do not be concerned about your life, what you will have to eat or drink, or about your body, and what you will wear. Surely life more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they?Lots of changes happen to our bodies while pregnant. It is so much more than just a bigger belly. It’s okay, we are more than our bodies and God will help us through this

Proverbs 31:25-26

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she can afford to laugh at the days to come. When she opens her mouth, wisdom issues forth, and on her tongue is kindly advice.

Psalm 46:6

God is in her midst; she will not be overcome...

Psalm 127:3

Behold, children are a gift from the Lord, a reward of the fruit of the womb.
