Our Backyard Pumpkin Patch
This fall we were the first house on the block with pumpkins! We planted last year's pumpkin pie pumpkin seeds and will roast the pumpkins after Halloween to make pumpkin pie. We will save the seeds and start over again in the spring.
Every female flower on the vine is a potential pumpkin. The male flowers won’t grow into a pumpkin and are quite delicious in a quesadilla.
